About Pet Heaven

Our little fur baby Rory sadly passed away this morning and it has broken our hearts and left my family in a horrible place. When going to pet heaven we were made to feel very welcome and the compassion we were given towards our little boy left us speechless.

Rory was the life and soul of our little family being a young couple he was our baby. The nice kind man gave Rory an incredible send off with nice music and we could take our time to say goodbye, the fur baby bag we got with his paw print in a frame was just incredible it's made us feel so much better knowing he's here with us all the time. I would like to Thank you all for such a great service, we really appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts.

After losing my beloved Bull Terrier Timmy, I contacted Mr Forbes Robertson early the next morning to discuss the arrangements for Timmy. Mr Robertson collected him from the vets that morning and I had him home late that afternoon.

I would like to thank him for all that he did for the family, nothing was too much trouble.

As a family we were heartbroken when we recently lost our much loved dog Orla.

After contacting Mr Forbes Robertson late afternoon to discuss arrangements for Orla, I immediately felt an inner peace knowing that I had made the right decision for Pet Heaven to take her on her final journey.

Mr Robertson collected Orla from the vets first thing the following morning and we had her back home with us the same afternoon. This made the heartbreak more bearable knowing she was back home with us.

The service we received was first class, Mr Robertson was understanding and compassionate and the personal touches, of her paw print in a frame was just lovely.

We cannot recommend Pet Heaven highly enough.

Our beautiful labrador Milly passed away on 1st December and Forbes treated her cremation with the greatest care and sensitivity. After the vet left, Forbes waited outside until we were ready to bring Milly out to him, still wrapped in her blanket.

We collected her ashes the same day, and having her home within a few hours made an awful experience that much more bearable. We waited a week for our cat's ashes to come back from the vet, not knowing there was another option at that time.

And the stories we've heard about other local crematoriums are horrendous, with pets being kept in a freezer overnight or ashes going missing.

Forbes is a dog lover himself and has been known to our family for a long time, so we wouldn't have trusted Milly with anyone else.

The personal touches were unexpected and we'll treasure her everlasting paw print. Thank you for making the experience as easy as it could be.

We used Pet Heaven to help us decide what to do with our little dog. We got her cremated.

The service was outstanding and helped us in this awful time. I would highly recommend them.

First I would like to thank Forbes for the wonderful service he provides whereby he met me at Pet Heaven then stayed late that night and cremated our beautiful yellow Labrador Cooper who was taken from us at 15 months old by Cancer.

The professionalism by Forbes made the horrible experience easier for us at this hard time and we wish him all the best.

On the passing of our dog Mitch, Forbes came to our house and waited until we were ready to let him go and the service that night and the following day when we collected Mitch's ashes was first class.

We were kindly given a framed paw print and a small bag of forget me not seeds to scatter as well as a bottle of wine to toast to our lovely boy.

Would recommend to anyone who finds themselves in this heartbreaking situation.

During a particularly difficult time when we had to say goodbye to our beloved Dog, Forbes and Pets Heaven dealt with us with understanding, compassion and helped us come to terms with our loss.

Forbes understood our loss; crucially, our dog was never left alone and was taken care of that very same night and we collected the remains the very next day.

The family and I were extremely upset with the loss of our little dog Roxi. From start to finish Forbes provided a high standard of care and compassion with his services.

My husband and I lost our beloved family rabbit yesterday and had seen advertised Pet Heaven. Upon contacting them I spoke with the owner of the establishment who was nothing but a welcoming and friendly gentleman who was very open and informative.

Upon entering Pet Heaven I was greeted with a warm welcome and felt the atmosphere to be calming and compassionate. The service we recieved was outstanding and when we recieved our rabbit back we were given afew lovely memento's of her which made our grief a little easier.

Would like to start this review by stating that Forbes, the owner, was unbelievably kind and very much understanding in the care he showed to our pet dog Jake, even with us running late or a change in detail nothing was a problem.

His facilities in Ayr are first class and put the family, and especially the children, at so much ease. A send off that any pet owner would be proud of under the circumstance, even the token gestures that make it so personal. Thank you so much. 5⭐

I sadly lost my eldest dog Mollie in late January, luckily I had heard about Pet Heaven just after it opened. From initial contact to receiving Mollies ashes back, I have nothing but praise for how everything was carried out, I also received her ashes back the same day, which I was very happy with.

Today I have had my second eldest dog Sophie cremated, which came as a shock as it was very sudden. And with the current situation we're all in at this time I didn't know if I would be able to have this done, but, with a phone call made to Mr Robertson, everything was soon arranged for today. We took her there and picked her up later.

I can't thank Mr Robertson enough for everything he did for us at this heartbreaking time. My recommendation for Pet Heaven can't come highly enough.

We had to make a decision to say goodbye to our Wee Louis at the end of January, he was seventeen & half years old, this was so difficult.

We contacted Pet Heaven and spoke with Forbes who recognised our situation, from the deep sadness about making this decision to ensuring his cremation was carried out with dignity, he gave us the options and what we could have.

We arranged a time that we would bring him after being to the vets, this was late on a Friday evening and he met us at the door as we arrived.

The whole experience reassured us to feel so much better and comforting that we decided to make these arrangements with Pet Heaven we felt assured he'd be given the deserved respect as our faithful companion. Forbes called us the next day to let us know we could pick up his ashes, they were beautifully prepared with lovely touches that we appreciated so much and we know Wee Louis was given a dignified goodbye and we now can have our memories.

We would recommend this service for anyone who has lost their pet, it does help through a very difficult time.

We used Pet Heaven when our beautiful cat Pax sadly passed away on Christmas morning. Forbes was so compassionate and ready to listen to our upsetting account of Pax making this process so much easier for us.

The service offered and carried out was by far superior to the service that was being offered by the vets standard cremation service. Our dog was picked up and his ashes were ready for us to pick up the same day. There were also a few extra touches added by pet heaven that we did not expect. Nothing was too much for Forbes and he was very approachable and helpful.

I was very impressed with the professional service delivered by Pet Heaven. Our dog's ashes were returned to us the same day as the service and it was an amazing surprise when Forbes also presented us with his paw print in a frame.
